Our Karate Program teaches the use of martial art weapons. Weapon Training is used to:
Academy and guest Instructors teach the following weapons within our program.
- Develop Coordination, Speed, Balance, Timing
- Compete in Weapon Divisions
- Enhance Self Defense Capability
- Have a lot of fun performing exciting skills

Karate Students at our Academy condition their bodies to deliver maximum force on an opponent while sustaining minimal injuries to themselves. Our conditioning and breaking program is a fun and rewarding way to do this. Students learn to break wood and bricks with their hands, feet, elbows, forearms, knees. These techniques applied properly will maximize their self defense capability. This program continues to be a class favorite, no matter the age, size or gender of the participant.

Karate students practice Kata. Kata, a Japanese word, meaning literally: "form" (型 or 形), is a detailed choreographed pattern of movements made to be practiced alone, but are also practiced within groups and in unison when training. It is practiced as a way to memorize and perfect the movement being executed.
Students develop balance, strength, timing, enhanced cardio, coordination, and confidence while performing kata.
Students are able to use their favorite or best Kata to enter tournaments and compete against other martial artists.
Karate Students will learn many different katas as they progress through our program.
